Started as County Extension Director in Shiawassee County on June 1, 2006. Previously served as County Extension Director in St. Clair County from 9/1/98 to 1/31/02 and as 4-H Youth Agent from 8/1/94 to 8/31/98. Left MSUE between assignments (2/1/02 - 12/31/03) to assume administrative role for County of St. Clair as the Deputy County Administrator. Began a management consulting business in 2004 specializing in employee development processes and organizational alignment/realignment.

Provides community and economic development programming in Shiawassee County. Currently pursuing community development strategies with three adjacent communities along the I-69 corridor relative to positioning for the "New Economy" utilizing Smart Growth tenets; creating an incubator business center that will provide an incubator kitchen, a value added agriculture retail/marketing complex, and an educational nutrition component.
