Paul is the Allegan County Extension Director. He specializes in educational programs for poultry (state wide), Christmas trees (SW MI) and pesticide applicator training (Allegan, Muskegon & Ottawa). He has worked extensively with environmental regulations education for farmers, including manure management, air quality and Right to Farm . Paul is familiar with the specialized District agents serving Allegan county but stationed in other counties. He can refer clients to the appropriate District agent for programs and information in other areas of agriculture.

In the area of natural resource education, he has worked extensively with tree pest management and answers many questions about residential pest control and lawn & garden plant production.

Paul has worked for MSU Extension in Allegan County since September 1987.

Paul has a BS degree in Agriculture from Lincoln University, Jefferson City, MO and his MS degree in Poultry Science from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. He has worked in the field of agriculture, including livestock feed sales and farm credit, since 1972.
