Experience developing, maintaining, implementing and administering economic and community development programs including small business counseling, group facilitation, capacity building, leadership development and ascertaining local needs. Served as statewide co-chair for the Community Development Area of Expertise Team and actively involved in LeadNet, a network of MSU leadership development professionals in Michigan. In partnership with members of these organizations have designed several workshops and curriculums; Community Leadership, How to Form a Grant Writing Team, Business 101, Building Community Capacity, Business Basics and Facilitation Excellence.
