Lapeer County MSU Extension wants to teach you more about producing some of your own food. From honey to herbs we believe that knowing how to grow your own will give you the freshest, most nutritious food as well as the satisfaction of mastering new skills. Honey- Learn to start a beehive and harvest honey on April 14 from 10 am to 1pm. Melissa Jaskiewicz of Meij’s Mystical farm and Eric Kramer will teach you the basics of beginning beekeeping. $15. Pre-registration is required.
