Bean and Beet Symposium

The 2012 Bean and Beet Symposium is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21st 2012 at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw, MI.  Bean and sugarbeet growers looking for information on improving production, saving money and preventing diseases attend. This is one of the largest trade shows in Michigan.

Every year more than 1,000 agricultural producers travel from across the state and Canada to attend this annual event. There are over 90 Vendors that attend this event. There is no registration or fee required to attend.

The mission of Sugarbeet Advancement is to generate research and utilize education to enhance productivity and profitability of the Great Lakes sugar beet industry. This will be accomplished through the cooperative efforts of Michigan State University, Michigan Sugar Company, producers and agribusiness. The Sugarbeet Advancement Committee will be active in identifying research needs, conducting educational programming, and identifying promotional and financial support to accomplish established goals.
