Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Sponsored by Multi-County Solid Waste Task Force

Acceptable items:  Toxic (poisonous), flammable, caustic (causes burns), or chemically reactive materials.  Some examples:  oil-based paint, drain cleaners, pool chemicals, pesticides, antifreeze.  Please call 989.269.9949 for a complete list.

Unacceptable items:  Ammunition/explosives, biohazards (syringes), & prescription medications.  Other programs may exist to dispose of these items.  Call the local coordinator for further information.   Additional Recycling information can be located on the DEQ's website.
