Agriculture & Natural Resource

Welcome to Agriculture in Cheboygan County. In case you  weren't  aware of it, you're visiting a county that has very diverse agricultural production. There is really everything you need here to  provide safe and secure food for your Holiday table or even your everyday mealtime. We have it all from cranberries to wine to Christmas trees, traditional livestock production of beef, sheep and swine, agritourism and "exotic" buffalo and elk, our own on-farm dairy with milk, cheese and ice cream, sod for your lawn and landscaping trees and flowers for your yard, hay and grain for your horses and even local agribusiness to support it all. All of this production and much, much more comes from a county that has nearly 50% state owned land and four of the largest inland lakes in the state. We are very lucky to have farmers that are the original land stewards and help provide cover and feed for wildlife and help keep the Inland Waterway system clean and healthy.

If you have any questions, please call us and we'll help you any way we can.
