Alger County Profile

“Alger County Profile” available from MSU Extension

The Alger County MSU Extension office has a new set of demographic information available relating to community and economic development.  Based on the most recent census data, the Alger County Profile booklet compares information from the 2000 census with the 1990 census and contains more recent data where available.  Categories include:  population (by township and city), educational attainment, age, ethnicity, disability, workforce/unemployment, households/families, income, and poverty levels.  This information can be useful to grant writers, local elected officials and other community members interested in details about our county situation.  To obtain a copy of the new profile, click on the link below.  You may also phone us at 387-2530 or email us at msue.alger@county.msu.edu to request an electronic or written copy.
