Fair Updates
Fair Camping Changes
It is that time of year when we begin to plan for camping at the Barry County Fair. There have been several significant changes this year and a revised application form must be used. The form is is available on the Expo Center website http://www.barryexpocenter.com or you may pick one up at the Extension office. Additional campsites are being developed in the campground B area beyond the horse barn. These sites will be equipped with water and an upgraded electric service that will accommodate RV air conditioners. Due to the increased cost of running an air conditioner the fee for these new campsites will be higher. Campers in this new area will be allowed to use their air conditioner at any time throughout Fair week. These campsites will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis to exhibitors making an application with payment. If there are any remaining sites, they will be available to the public for rental. Questions should be directed to Campground Superintendent, Diane Hoskins, at (269) 795-7421.
