SUBJECT: LEGAL INVOLVEMENT
 
POLICY: Any potential legal involvement relating to Extension employment is to be reported as soon as possible to the ANR Human Resources Office.
 
APPLIES TO: All MSUE staff
 
PROVISIONS/RESTRICTIONS:
 
  1. Legal involvement includes, but is not limited to, contact by an attorney, threatened legal action, or serving of a subpoena.

  2. Because timelines are often quite short between potential notification of legal action and legal action, ANR Human Resources Office is to be promptly informed.
 
PROCEDURES:
 
Notify the ANR Human Resources Office of any potential legal involvement as soon as possible.
