CIVIL RIGHTS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES


POLICY:
MSU Extension prohibits discrimination in employment and program access on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, religion, age, height, weight, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, marital status, family status or veteran status


APPLIES TO:
MSU Provost-appointed academic and non-academic staff.  
 

PROVISIONS/RESTRICTIONS:
  1.  See Summary of Civil Rights Policies and Procedures.  

  2. All staff should be familiar with civil rights laws, regulations, and guidelines regarding equal opportunity and affirmative action and how they apply to their position responsibilities

  3. County Extension Directors are required to review the Summary of Civil Rights Policies and Procedures with all county Extension staff members on an annual basis.
