SUBJECT: SUBPOENA
 
POLICY: An MSUE staff member complies fully if he/she receives a subpoena
 
APPLIES TO: All MSUE academic staff members.
 
PROVISIONS/RESTRICTIONS:
 
  1. A subpoena is a legal document requiring the appearance of a witness and/or the submission of evidence, records, or documents, relative to, typically, a court proceeding.
  2. An MSUE staff member must comply if subpoenaed.
 
PROCEDURES:
 
An MSUE staff member who is served with a subpoena contacts the MSUE Human Resources Office.
